OUR STORY

Lantal is a Swiss-based, family-owned company established in 1886 in the heart of Switzerland. Ever since then, we have been working passionately day in and day out to design, develop, and manufacture high-performing textiles. Since 1954, our passion lies in creating aircraft interiors that reflect the airline’s heritage and branding, while also prioritizing passengers’ well-being. Today, we serve transportation customers in three core markets: aviation, railway, and buses, operating various production locations around the world.

2024 INNOTRANS | SUMMARY

At the Innotrans exhibition in Berlin in September 2024, we proudly presented an incredible textile design study for upholstery fabrics and velvets. The tip of the iceberg was able to unveil our DIGITAL DEEP DYEING Technology, which introduces the coolest carpet designs for trains ever seen! The show was a great success, filled with engaging discussions and enthusiastic responses from attendees. The railway industry is dynamic and will be key to the sustainable revolution. We are proud here at LANTAL to be part in the heart of this transformation.

2023 | CRYSTAL CABIN AWARD

WINNER IN THE SUSTAINABLE CABIN CATEGORY

The Crystal Cabin Award is the only international award for excellence in aircraft interior innovation, initiated by the Senate of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg and managed by the Crystal Cabin Award Association. The award is designed to motivate companies and research facilities to develop new products and modern designs for aircraft cabin interiors. The development, manufacture and marketing of the innovative products or services must offer essential benefits to a potential customer, both to the final consumer as well as to the customers and manufacturers involved.

LANTAL LAUNCHES DEEP DYED CARPET

Crisis means opportunity was the key driver of all activities within Lantal in the past years. While the COVID pandemic severely impacted all our lives, Lantal doubled down its commitment to sustainability and counter-cyclically increased its R&D spending. We designed, developed and built the World’s first DIGITAL DEEP DYEING Technology. And at this year's show, we are finally launching this revolutionary technology.
